Internships

Internships are an integral component to RTA’s three undergraduate programs. Completed in the third of fourth year depending your program, you will have the opportunity to select an internship in the industry of your choice. You will gain valuable industry insight and experience in a professional atmosphere. Your internship can also help launch your professional network and build connections to reach out to after graduation for employment opportunities.

Past internship partners include: major broadcast networks and companies, advertising agencies, new media companies, animated houses, independent production companies, post production houses and much more. Internships positions have varied from being in the control room, shooting, editing, marketing and sales, writing and sponsorships and promotions.

Top sports media outlets: TSN, Sportsnet, The Score, Dome Productions and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (MLSE).

Major networks and companies: Rogers, Global, CTV, CBC, City, CP24, Bell Media Inc. and Sony Music.

Media companies: Marble Media, Channel Zero, Blue Ant Media, Entertainment One, Multiple Media Entertainment (MME) and The Mission Media Company.
