Brittany Starkman

Production Training & Support
RCC 234E

Brittany is a 2016 graduate of RTA who specializes in audio post-production, voice direction and music composition. Her passion for media began at the early age of 6 when she began to pursue acting. Her resume includes voice-work for Ikea, Swiss Chalet, Mobilicity, the award winning Carly’s Voice, as well as on-camera acting for commercials/television shows such as Hannibal, Instant Star, State Farm, Quaker Oatmeal, and much more. It was these on set and in studio experiences that sparked her curiosity for working in media production.

She is grateful to have worked alongside big players in the industry including the talents from Pirate Toronto, Vapor Music, Toronto's VIBE105 FM, Accessible Media Inc., and Boombox Sound. Some of her professional experiences include roles such as Music Supervisor, Casting and Engineering Assistant, Creative Media Marketing Director, Sound Designer, and Radio Copywriter.

Brittany has been involved in many ways across Ryerson’s campus as a Tri-Mentor, Residence Advisor, Academic Link for the RTA School of Media, and Teaching Assistant for two RTA courses. These rewarding experiences working with students inspired her to receive her Bachelor of Education in Technological Education which she has been completing at York University alongside her Ryerson degree.

Above all, Brittany is extremely excited to continue making a positive impact on the Ryerson University community.
