Jim Munroe

Executive Director, Hand Eye Society

Jim Munroe is a self-described “indie culture maker,” producing science fiction novels, designing indie videogames, and making science fiction films. Munroe is the co-founder of the Hand Eye Society; a not-for-profit videogame arts organization, and currently serves as its executive director. He also assisted in the launch of the North American touring circuit The Perpetual Motion Roadshow and was an artist in residence at the Art Gallery of Ontario in 2014. Munroe is the recipient of the IndieCade 2012 Grand Jury Award for his videogame Unmanned, and won the Best Feature Award at Sci-Fi-London 2012 for his film Ghosts With Shit Jobs.
